I've let a lot of things go recently. Especially after the loss. I quit cooking, cleaning, and doing the things around the house and with the kids that I should be doing. DH took up some of the slack for a while, but he's back to work and having a stressful time and I really can't lean on him so much.
So back to holding myself accountable.
We have a goal of paying the house off within a year. So that's going to involve some scrimping. So I'm going to start working on the budget again. This month I'm going to focus on recording and just being more conscious of what I'm spending. Starting next month I'll try to put together a realistic budget based on what I learn.
Cleaning and meal planning are also things I need to get back into the habit of doing. I think I'll start zone cleaning (Flylady, here I come!) again. This house is small. It shouldn't be that hard.
So far this week I've spent $16 (Publix) I also got 4 loaves of whole wheat bread the discount bread store for $3 on saturday.
This weeks dinners are:
Monday: Green Curry Chicken, rice, steamed peas
Tuesday: Split pea soup, home made rolls
Wednesday: Chili, corn bread
Thursday: Winter vegetable bake
Friday: Roast Chicken with veggies
Saturday: Pasta salad, baby carrots
Sunday: Spanish Tortilla, green salad with tomatoes
